Thank you to everyone gave generously to the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, Care and Save The Children in response to the crisis in Haiti. Together, former Jehovah's Witnesses from around the world with exJWs4Haiti.com helped raise approximately $5000.00 in pledges to these four aid organizations. For many people, this was the first time they had ever made a humanitarian donation. Thank you for helping to make a difference.
The people of Haiti will need on-going support for many years to come, please do not forget about their terrible plight. Not only do they need to rebuild their lives and their homes, they now face extreme danger in the form of communicable disease caused by flooding in the tent cities during the upcoming rainy seasons.
